Michelle Berment is a professional member of The Society of Interior Architects, Interior Designers, Interior Decorators, Industrial Designers, Furniture Designers of Trinidad and Tobago (SIADFTT). She has over 30 years of design experience. Her dedication to design was elevated with her knowledge of sustainable architecture. She upholds the view that it is all in the details, is always striving to improve and prides herself in delivering excellence.

A graduate of the New York School of Interior Design with a BFA 1989 and the University of East London with a MSc Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies at the School of Architecture 1998. She then created the “Living Spaces” supplement for the Newsday Newspaper and wrote over 150 articles on Interior Design and Environmental Design. After graduation she worked with Rejane Limited, then teamed up with two Designers to form Via Design Limited which operated for seven years before starting her own company Grid Elements Company Limited.
