Design and Construction
Our business is a turn-key service from start to finish, be it small –scale or large projects. We bring the project from concept through to the five stages of the design and construction processes with attention to detail. During the construction stage we work with all the contractors, engineers, architects, project managers and quantity surveyors to ensure that everyone is on the same page with the design and the execution of the construction is for the most part headache free.

Education
These workshops were developed to empower the non-professional designer (home owner) to be confident when choosing furnishings and creating an effective layout when doing their home projects.
THE 5 STAGES
OF DESIGN
The stages of design takes a project step by step from consultation, design to construction.
1. Consultation – At this stage we learn about the client’s vision for the project
• The initial discussion regarding client needs/ wants, budget and time constraints
• Designer conducts a site visit on a renovation to record findings of the site or receive the architectural drawings on a new build.
• Designer reviews the scope, the space and sets a design plan and concepts
2. Initial presentation - Shows concept solutions
• Preliminary floor plan reflecting the scope
• Vignettes of different areas
• Elevations
• Client review and approval
3. Design Development - Refines the concepts
• Revision of the previous stage
• Presentation of finishes, furnishings and accessories
• Client review and approval
4. Final Design – Development of drawings
• For construction and/or tender drawings
• Creating a FFE specification booklet
5. Construction- Bringing the design to life
• Review drawings with builders, contractors, project managers and engineers (as necessary)
• Place orders on the client’s behalf if necessary
• Site visits to ensure the plan is being adhered to and addressing problems
• Coordinate delivery and installation of furnishings and accessories
